Dr. María Del Mar Félix Morales is a double-board-certified physician specializing in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. With a foundation in Internal Medicine and dedication to compassionate, patient-centered care, Dr. Félix has extensive experience in hospital and clinical settings, working with minority and low-income populations.
Dr. Félix is a graduate of Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Mayagüez Medical Center and pursued an Endocrinology fellowship at UT Health San Antonio. Her past and ongoing research focuses on complex endocrine disorders, health disparities, and culturally competent care delivery - and has been featured by national organizations such as the Endocrine Society, Texas Endocrinology Association, and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
Getting to Know Dr. Félix
Currently practicing with Millennium Physician Group in Florida, Dr. Félix has held prior positions at Gessler Clinic, PA, and First Hospital Panamericano. Her clinical interests include diabetes management, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary disease, and endocrine complications in vulnerable populations.
Dr. Félix Morales is bilingual in English and Spanish and actively involved in professional organizations including the Endocrine Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, and American College of Physicians. She is ECFMG certified and holds active medical licenses in Puerto Rico and Florida.
