What is Medical Nutrition Therapy?
Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is a nutrition treatment provided by qualified dietitians. It helps you identify nutrition-related issues and provides therapeutic guidance and counseling to support your diabetes management.
MNT is covered by insurance for most Aeroflow Diabetes patients, and:
- Offers individual and group nutrition coaching with qualified dietitians.
- Provides an in-depth, individualized nutrition assessment.
- Involves patient-specific goal-setting and care plans.
- Implements follow-up conversations to track progress and address obstacles.
- Covers diabetes nutrition, heart healthy nutrition, diabetic weight loss, CGM data analysis, and more.
- Empowers patients to make informed decisions about their health.
Our MNT program provides online access to a network of qualified dietitians who specialize in providing education on preventing illness through the nutrition that enters our bodies. These informative sessions are available as a preventative care benefit at little to no cost through your insurance plan and are accessible virtually from the comfort of your home.
